John Buscher - Piercer: John is from Bronx, NY. He started in the tattoo industry at a very early age, hanging out at the original Big Joe's Tattoo on First Street in Mt. Vernon, NY. John then started working for Big Joe at the Mt. Vernon Avenue location, making tattoo equipment for Kaplan's Tattoo supply company at the age of 16. From ink to needles to power supplies, he's put it together.
In the late '90s, he trained under Wes Wood (Sacred Tattoo, NYC) in the art of body modification. He started piercing at Big Joe's NYC, pierced at The Tattoo Shop (Pleasantville, NY), and has also pierced for three years at Big Joe's White Plains location. He has done thousands of piercings and is currently specializing in Dermal Anchors and anything "different". John is currently working at Tradition Tattoo six days a week, Monday-Saturday. "I'm happy to have anyone come in, check out the piercing portfolios, and discuss what they'd like to get done."  |
